The Two Fridas, 2016 & 2011

The first time I painted this, in 2011, it had been commissioned to be given as a birthday present, and I had a very short deadline so that it could be delivered on the day.

The successful completion of that commission led to another client requesting me to repeat the copy for him in 2016. Both versions are in Cyprus.

Acrylic on canvas, approximately 70 x 70 cm.

A replica painting, in acrylic, of Frida Kahlo's renowned painting, The Two Fridas. The original painting, a dual self-portrait, shows Frida in both European and Mexican costumes. The figures are holding hands and are connected by a bloodline.

The completed 2016 version of the painting

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
