Limited Edition, Stone Lithograph

Small, two-colour lithograph in tones of deep red; cm on Fabriano, showing clearly the worn edges of the much-used stone. The stone broke while I was printing this, so I tied the two parts together with string in order to continue printing. The outcome was that the paper was pressed into the crack between the broken pieces, and has become embossed in the process. The white line that stretches from side to side marks the joint, and is slightly raised to the touch. The embossing is also visible. Two only available. Measures 22 x 16
